29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a. On or about March 28, 2013 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing operations on a roof approximately thrteen (13) feet above the ground, were not trained in the recognition and the abatement of fall hazards in their workplace, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a. On or about March 28, 2013 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees engaged in roofing operations on a steep roof (5:12 or greater) approximately thirteen (13) feet above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards. The Anselmo Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314039231, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 30, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 608-618 Citadel Drive, Westmont, IL 60559.
