29 CFR 1926.501(c)(1): When employees were exposed to falling objects, the employer did not have each employee wear a hard hat and did not erect toeboards, screens, canopy structures or barricades to prevent objects from falling from higher levels:   a.       Site- Employees working from the ground were not protected from over head struck by hazards where materials on the roof were not stored in such a way to prevent them from falling off of the roof. A box of nails was allowed to slide down from the roof peak to the roof eave and fell to the ground approximately 30 feet below.
