29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) Facility: On or about April 17, 2013, the main circuit breaker box located in storage room #4 needs to be replaced and rewired to meet the National Electrical Code. Some of the items that are not correct about this electrical box are as follows: 1. The front cover is not approved. 2. The front cover was held in place with a piece of twine. 3. The circuit breakers are not marked. 4. Electrical wiring is run in from the front of the box. 5. Extension cords are used as permanent wiring to the electrical box. 5. Exposed live electrical parts. 6. The piece of wood that the main circuit breaker was mounted to was not secured in place.
