29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about May 8, 2013, employees working from a steep-sloped commercial roof performing tear-off at a height greater than six feet were doing so without fall protection. Family Construction was previously cited for a violation of this or its equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 704418, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, Issued on 11/6/2012, and was affirmed final order on 11/27/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 213 Beltline Highway, Madison, WI 53714.
