29 CFR 1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe: a) At 4115 Augusta Dr Gulf Shores, Alabama: On or about June 12, 2013 and at times prior; the employer exposed his employees to amputation hazards in that he allowed them to use a Makita circular saw when the guard had a piece of wood wedged in it to keep the guard in the up position exposing the blade. THE GONZALEZ CONSTRUCTION ENTERPRISES, INC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.304(D), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 789861, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JANUARY 25, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 7119 ROCKY ROAD LOOP, GULF SHORES, ALABAMA 36542.
