29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Top Level, Center of Structure - Workers standing on the top of a wall frame using a pneumatic nail gun to fasten the top plate to the frame, were not protected from falling 8 feet to the plywood sub-floor and scrap material below on or about 6/27/2013. b) First Level, Center of Structure - Workers constructing interior 2x4 wood frames or obtaining materials would walk by or over openings in the floor where the plywood sub-floor had not been placed, were not protected from stepping into or through the holes on or about 6/27/2013. c) Front Entrance Way of Structure - Workers walked on a ramp to cross over a 4' wide, 6' deep opening when entering the structure, were not protected from falling to the concrete slab below on or about 6/27/2013 . d) First Floor Level, Front Right of Structure - Workers building interior 2x4 wood wall frames near a floor to ceiling high, 32" wide wall opening were not protected from falling 8' through the opening to the concrete driveway directly below on or about 6/27/2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
