29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. At a jobsite in Crystal Lake, Illinois employee applying sealant to decking materials on a flat commercial roof approximately 28 feet above grade, were not utilizing any method of fall protection. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d) C. I. C. Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 907014, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 05, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 6055 S. Harlem Ave. Chicago, Illinois. C. I. C. Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315419705 citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on June 02, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 936-938 Jefferson Square, Elk Grove Village, Illinois 60007.
