29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):   Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a. Building 200A - fall protection was not used during floor truss operations and exposed employees up to a 54' fall hazard.  Violation observed on or about 7/10/13.   First Construction Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316073626, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/14/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 3200 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL.  First Construction Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316306877, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/03/11, with respect to a workplace located at Holmswood Greens, Lythia, FL.  First Construction Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 697438, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/27/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 13162 Royal Pines Ave., Riverview, FL.  To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that its employees performing roofing work are protected from falls, and that no employee is allowed onto a roof 6 feet or more in height without adequate fall protection.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including a description of how these steps protect its employees from fall hazards.
