29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not protect each employee from falls from roofs by an adequate fall protection system. This most recently occurred on July 15, 2013, at 4788 Nameoki Road, Granite City, IL. Employees working from a 6 in 12 pitch roof are exposed to falls of approximately 12 feet 9 inches to a lower level. Employees are not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or a personal fall arrest systems or any other approved means. Affordable Roofing & Exteriors, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or an equivalent standard contained in: OSHA Inspection number 423703, citation 2 item 1 issued on June 15, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 200 E.
