29 CFR 1917.95(a)(1): Employees performing work that requires special protective clothing shall be directed by the employer to wear the necessary special protective clothing. a). RSA Line, Lane #10- On or about 30 July 2013, an employee's body and face was not adequately protected from hot slag and sparks generated while oxy-acetylene cutting on top of an intermodal container to widen the holes on the generator mount clips, thus exposing the employee to burn injuries.

29 CFR 1917.152(h)(1): Employees shall be protected from radiant energy eye hazards by spectacles, cup goggles, helmets, hand shields or face shields with filter lenses complying with the requirements of this paragraph. a). RSA Line, Lane #10- On or about 30 July 2013, an employee was not wearing adequate eye protection while conducting oxy-acetylene cutting on top of an intermodal container to widen the holes on the generator mount clips, thus exposing the employee to eye injuries.
