29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative:(a)(LOCATION)(IDENTIFY SPECIFIC OPERATIONS AND/OR CONDITIONS)(IDENTIFY MACHINERY OR EQUIPMENT) a) Production Area; the employer did not have a LO/TO program consisting of energy control procedures, training for the affected employees and periodic inspections. Employees were exposed to cuts, lacerations, electric shock while working near equipment that is not de-energized before any servicing or maintenance is performed on the 92 foot high production conveyor line and a large capacity oven.
