29 CFR 1926.451(f)(15): Ladders were used on scaffolds to increase the working level height of employees: a) North Side of the Building - A foreman and roofers were observed using two ladders while on a tubular welded frame scaffold, in order to reach the work on the fascia of the building exposing them to 6 foot and 8 foot fall hazards, on or about 08/09/13. The R. W. Kibler was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.451(f)(15), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314750522, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/15/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 3807 13th Street, NW, Washington DC 20011. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
