29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 1/29/2018 - at the top center roof of the structure. Employees were working on a roof replacing shingles/tiles exposed to a fall hazard of 15-25 feet. One employee was not wearing any Personal Fall Arrest System and two employees that were wearing Personal Fall Arrest Systems were not tied off. The R.W. Kibler Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1248413, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/03/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 3832 Gramercy Street NW Washington DC 20011.
