Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: a) On or about 8/15/2013, Existing roof: Employees performing roofing work on a roof with a minimum width of 72 feet were not utilizing a warning line system or physical fall protection. b) On or about 8/15/2013, New roof: Employees walking on a roof, with a minimum width of over 200 feet, outside of a warning line system were not protected by the use of a warning line system or a physical fall protection system. Abatement documentation is required for this item. The Tower Roofing Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314101916, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/15/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 46 West Main Street, Friendship, NY. The Tower Roofing Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSAH inspection number 314530247, citation 2, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9/29/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 46 West Main Street, Friendship, NY.
