29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) South side of building, on or about 10-5-17: One employee was working on a flat roof with unprotected sides and edges, and was not protected from falls, exposing the employees to a fall hazard between 7 feet 9 inches and up to 9 feet to a metal roof below.
