29 CFR 1910.1000(c): Employee(s) were exposed to crystalline silica, listed in Table Z-3, in excess of the calculated 8-hour time-weighted average concentration:                              This violation occurred on or about September 23, 2013 In the sandblasting and pairing areas, where one (1) sandblaster and one (1) painter was exposed to respirable dust containing 46% crystalline silica (quartz), at an 8-hour time-weighed average of 0.91 mg/m3 of air, approximately 4.4 times the PEL of 0.21 for crystalline silica, respirable fraction.  Sampling was performed for 236 minutes.  Zero exposure was assumed for the 244 minute period not sampled.
