29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii): When the operator of an industrial truck is dismounted and within 25 ft. of the truck still in his view, the load e11:gaging means shall be fully lowered, controls neutralized, and the brakes set to prevent movement:  On or about 9/20/21, 4301 Iverson Boulevard, Trinity, AL 35673, outside area near the Pickle Department, employees connecting nylon slings between a JLG Model 1255 Telehandler Rough Terrain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT} and a Ford F-250 were exposed to struck by hazards when the operator of the PIT dismounted the PIT before first lowering the forks.
