29 CFR 1910.252(a)(1)(i): When the object to be welded or cut could not be readily moved, all movable fire hazards in the vicinity were not taken to a safe place: a) On or about June 28, 2013 the employer failed to ensure that all moveable fire hazards were taken to a safe location during cutting operations. A fire occurred in the Green Sand Foundry when the TIVAR® 1000 polyethylene lining caught fire as an employee was using an acetylene torch to cut out an existing hopper.
