29 CFR 1917.43(e)(6): Employees were elevated by fork lift trucks without using a platform secured to the lifting carriage or forks: On or about 08/06/13, at the Wilfred Allick Container Port, Christiansted, VI, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while working approximately 10 feet from the ground level from a job-made work platform which was placed unsecured on a set of forks of a powered industrial truck. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
