29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: a) Research Support Building - On or about September 12, 2013, the inner sheathing of an extension cord that powered a DeWalt radio was exposed, exposing employees to possible electrical hazards. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED LRA Constructors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314092123, citation number 3, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 22, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at SW Corner of U.S. Highway 19 at Heritage Lane.

ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED
