OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that:    a. On or about October 24, 2013, on the east side of the structure, an employee used a wooden job made ladder without filler blocks inserted between the rungs to support the cleats, exposing himself to a 10-foot fall hazard.     Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to, but not limited to the following: (1) conform to the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) A14.4-1992, section 4.5.2.
