29 CFR 1910.141(a)(5): Every enclosed workplace was not constructed, equipped, and maintained, so far as reasonably practicable, as to prevent the entrance or harborage of rodents, insects, and other vermin. A continuing and effective extermination program was not instituted where their presence is detected: (a)Veterans Affairs Medical Center at 500 Foothill Blvd., Salt Lake City, UT 84148: The employer did not take all reasonable and practical efforts to control the entrance and harborage of rodents in the work area known as trailer 1. This condition exposed the employees in trailer 1 to unsanitary conditions.
