29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) On or about November 26, 2013, for employees exposed to an approximate ten-foot fall hazard while installing plywood sheeting to the second floor at or near the vicinity of 2100 36th Avenue South in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Note: This company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 113618672, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/27/2009 with respect to a workplace located at the base housing project on Edwards Air Force Base in California.
