29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): An employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or about June 2, 2014, and at times prior, for employees exposed to an eight-foot fall hazard while working next to an unprotected edge in the vicinity of 1600 Mike Street in Dickinson, North Dakota. Note: This company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 951124, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 16, 2014, with respect to a workplace located in the vicinity of 2100 36th Avenue South in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
