29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On 12/17/2013, workers from Raineri Construction were working on the roof of a residential building/apartment/condominium located at the intersection of McMenamy Road and Starwood Drive in St. Peters, MO. They were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. An employee was observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing him to fall to the ground below.
