29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. On 1/15/2014, an employee from Raineri Construction was working on the roof of a residential building/apartment/condominium located at the intersection of McMenamy Road and Starwood Drive in St. Peters, MO. He was not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. The employee was observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing him to fall to the ground below.
