Sylvania, OH: The employer failed to ensure employees were easily visible to vehicular traffic by ensuring all employees wore high visibility garments while working near or in an active roadway at an excavation.  Due to this condition, employees walking and working parallel to the roadway were exposed to potential struck-by injuries caused from a vehicular collision.       Ohio Excavating & Sewer Contractors Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.651(d), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313781742, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 22, 2010, with respect to a workplace located along Earlwood Ave. near Wren St. Oregon, OH.
