Observed on or about 12/19/2013. b) 216 57th Sea Isle City: On 12/19/13 a Montes Belos employee conducting framing work at height without any form of fall protection was exposed to a fall hazard of over 15 feet from the second floor's decking to the ground below. Observed on or about 12/19/2013. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not develop an accident prevention program, that provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment, to be made by competent persons designated by the employer. a) 216 57th Sea Isle City: The employer did not initiate a program for a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, to identify hazards and/or stop the work in the event workers were placed in a hazardous condition. As such, on 12/17/13 a Montes Belos employee conducting framing work at height without any form of fall protection sustained serious injury when he fell over 15 feet to the ground below. Observed on or about 12/19/2013. b) 216 57th Sea Isle City: The employer did not initiate a program for a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, to identify hazards and/or stop the work in the event workers were placed in a hazardous condition. As such, on 12/19/13 a Montes Belos employee conducting framing work at height without any form of fall protection was exposed to a fall hazard of over 15 feet from the second floor's decking to the ground below. Observed on or about 12/19/2013. Montes Belos Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 921676, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/13/13, with respect to a workplace located at Cantor Trail, Cherry Hill, NJ. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
