29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(ii): The employer did not select and use a NIOSH-certified respirator in compliance with the conditions of its certification: Nickel Plating line: On or about January 08, 2014, an employee was wearing a filtering face piece respirator that was not a NIOSH-certified respirator while adding granular Nickel hydroxycarbonate, a carcinogen and irritant to the paranasal sinuses and lungs, to solution. The Danbury Aerospace was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 836003, citation number 01, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/30/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 9503 Middlex San Antonio TX 78217.
