29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about February 6, 2014, at the above addressed site, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while performing framing work on a low slope roof approximately 15 feet 10 inches in height with unprotected edges and was not being protected from falling to that lower level. SPANISH AMERICAN INTERIORS, INC. WAS PREVIOSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1),WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 314264136, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS FINAL ORDER ON 09/28/2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1900 SOUTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE IN DAVIE FLORIDA.
