29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about September 23, 2015, at the above addressed site, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while installing metal framing on a walking/working syurface prior to being provided with a training program that would enable him to recognize the hazards of falling. PLEASE NOTE: CERTIFICATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about September 23, 2015, at the above addressed site, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while installing metal framing on a walking/working surface approximately 11 feet 6 inches above a lower level while not being protected from falling to that lower level. SPANISH AMERICAN INTERIORS, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVILANT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) AS A REPEAT, WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 957594 , CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 03/18/2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 311 EAST INDIANTOWN ROAD IN JUPITER, FLORIDA..
