29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws:       a)    Blast Department:  On the 110 volt Dayton Pedestal fan, the outer insulation was pulled out of its end electrical plug on the flexible cord, allowing strain to be placed on the inner electrical connections.  Employees were exposed to an electrical shock hazards.   b)    Blast Department:  On the Miller MIG welder, 440 volts, the outer insulation was pulled out of if its end electrical plug on the flexible core, allowing strain to be placed on the inner electrical connections.  Employees were exposed to an electrical shock hazards.
