(a) 1250 Powder Springs Road SE, Bldg. 12, Marietta, Ga., On the front side and back side of a multi-family residential apartment, employees were not protected from eye injuries while framing with a Pneumatic Hitachi Stick Frame Nail Gun without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:  (a) 1250 Powder Springs Road SE Bldg 12, Marietta, Ga.: Employees performing sheathing activities at a height in excess of 25 feet above ground level, not utilizing fall protection, were exposed to falls hazards to ground level.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  (a) Third floor, new multi-family residential construction located at 1250 Powder Springs Road SE, Bldg 12, Marietta, Ga.: Two employees were exposed to falls of approximately 8-feet  1-inches while using a Werner 6-foot step ladder to access the rafters and roof at heights of approximately 10-feet from the third floor level. The ladder was used to access the rafters.
