29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toe boards: a) The Plant #6 air compressor mezzanine had gaps in the guard rails of approximately 24" & 15" exposing employees to a 14' fall hazard. b) The Washer filter platform had approximately a 32" wide unguarded opening approximately 11' off the cement floor. c) There was an approximately 11' high deck above the drying oven where employees go to change filters without fall protection. d) The Plant #7 truck loading dock has a drop off of approximately 4' outside of Dock #12 man door.
