29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:    a. On or about April 16, 2014, an employee used the top cap and top step of the portable 8-foot fiberglass stepladder to gain access to and from the trusses, exposing the employee to an 8-foot fall hazard.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:    a. On or about April 16, 2014, an employee used a Hitachi pneumatic nailer without the use of safety glasses, exposing himself to being struck-by nails or flying debris.    The Cruz Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 786463, citation number 1 item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 6, 2013, with respect to a workplace at 330 Terrapin Way, Panama City, Florida.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     a.  On or about April 16, 2014, an employee on the 6:12 pitch roof was attaching roof sheathing without the use of any fall protection systems, being exposed to a 18-foot fall hazard.    The Cruz Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 786463, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on February 6, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 330 Terrapin Way, Panama City, Florida.
