29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about 5/7/14 - at Building A, 115 Greensboro Ave., Tuscaloosa, AL, employees were not protected from falling about 9-feet at an unprotected side or edge where the job-made ladder was located between the second and third floors near the frame marked unit 211 type C2A. South Georgia Framers, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 911560, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/09/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2701 East Nifong Boulevard, Columbia, MO 65201.

South Georgia Framers, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 682219, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/11/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 350 Brampton Ave., Statesboro, GA 30458.
