Jobsite: 2nd floor, Southeast side. Employees of subcontractors were exposed to falls of approximately 16 feet while working/walking near an unguarded floor edge of approximately 240 feet in length.

29 CFR 1926.502(b)(4): Components used to construct the guard rail system had not been designed for the purpose: Jobsite: North and West side, 2nd floor. Employees of subcontractors were exposed to falls of approximately 16 feet to the ground below while working/walking on the floor, where one-hole electrical metallic tubing (EMT) clips, which had not been so designed by the manufacturer, or tested and/or listed by an approved laboratory to be used as applied, wire rope perimeter guardrail system as fasteners at the columns.
