Ron Russell Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard (29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315481218, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/16/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 13301 Currituck Drive, Jacksonville, FL. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, a personal fall arrest system, or an alternative fall protection measure as provided by another provision in paragraph (b) of this section: a. On or about May 29, 2014, employees removing shingles and felt from the 9/12 pitch roof were not protected from a 8 feet 11 inch fall hazard by the use of conventional or alternative fall protection systems.
