29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling: (a) Room G-29, Lunch Room; A Sharp microwave was plugged into a relocatable power tap. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances. This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards. (b) Room G-29, Office by window; A Patton white heater which runs at 12. 5 amps was plugged into a relocatable power tap. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances. This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards. (c) Room G-29, Far Office; A DeLonghi white heater which runs at 12.5 amps was plugged into a relocatable power tap. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances. This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1001(k)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of ACM waste and debris and accompanying dust: a) Room G-29; The asbestos containing 9x9 floor tiles in the 1964 building were not maintained and the floor areas underneath all the office chairs on rollers were visibly worn and there was a fine white dust on the floor. This potentially exposes employees to asbestos fibers.
