OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall and crushing hazards:  a.   On or about June 11, 2014, employees installing permanent roof Lateral Restraint blocks and valley and ridge truss connections were exposed to 24 feet fall hazards.  Employees working inside the structure beneath roof trusses were exposed to crushing hazards from a potential structural collapse in that the employer did not follow the temporary bracing plan specified in the engineering plans that referenced the Building Component Safety Information (BCSI) Guide to Good Practice for Handling, Installing, Restraining & Bracing of Metal Plate Connected Wood Trusses, the employer's source of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices for temporary bracing of wood truss structures.
