29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Lot 31 Astilbe Path, on or about 7/1/2014: Employees were installing the second floor backside wall of the house without using any type of fall protection, employees are exposed to a fall hazard. b) Lot 31 Astilbe Path, on or about 7/1/2014: Employees were using a stairway to access the second floor and no fall protection system was installed to protect employees ones they step off the stairway, employees are exposed to a fall hazard.
