29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use: a) Site located at 179 Austin Meadows road, Manlius, NY: On or about 3/22/2023, employer did not utilize an an approved personnel work platform, with proper capacity chart displayed in the cab as stated in the JLG Operators Manual. Employees created a plywood deck on the forks of the JLG SKYTRAK 8042, Serial #76890, and used it to lift the employees.

P.E. Dwyer Construction Co. Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1386826, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/14/2020, with respect to a workplace located at Morgan & Waterhouse Roads.
