29 CFR 1918.22(b): Each side of the gangway, and the turntable if used, did not have a hand rail with a minimum height of 33 inches (0.84 m)(measured perpendicularly from rail to walking surface at the stanchion) and a midrail. (a) On July 2, 2014 the inspection revealed that a section of the gangway guardrail system did not have a midrail. Located on the gangway providing access to the vessel "Laurel Ace".
