On or about July 11, 2014, employees were observed performing roofing work without the use of fall protection measures. The employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 6 feet. Salazar Roofing & Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 947885, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on February 19, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 5808 Mistletoe Ct. On or about July 11, 2014, employees were observed using portable ladders to gain access to the roof and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the roof landing surface and the employees were exposed to a fall hazard. Salazar Roofing & Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314934555, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on May 14, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 810 North Peters, Norman, OK 73069.
