29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. This violation occurred on or about July 10, 2014, and at times prior thereto, when employees were working on an unprotected roof approximately 20 feet above a lower level without the use of fall protection, guardrail systems, or a safety net system. Alfonso Mares was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312121023, citation number 2, item number 1and was affirmed as a final order on July 16, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 429 Northwest Highway, Irving, TX 75039.
