29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     On July 15, 2014 employees performing roofing work at a residential property were not protected from a fall, exposing employees to a fall of 13' 7".      MK Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 942608, citation number 02, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on October 31, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 13525 Choctaw Trail, Homer Glen, IL 60491.     MK Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 925284, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on September 13, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 4821 106th St. Oak Lawn IL 60453.       Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:     On or about July 16, 2014 employees engaged in roofing activities were not provided with the training to recognize or minimize the hazards associated with a fall.        MK Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 942608, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on October 31, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 13525 Choctaw Trail, Homer Glen, IL 60491.       Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
