29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v): Pendant control box(es) were not clearly marked for identification of functions:    (a)  In the North Bay, the pendant control for the Harnischfeger overhead overhung crane (S/N:  CH 20659, Cap 10 Ton) was not properly labeled in that the labeling for down, south, west, and east were missing.  This exposed employees to accidentally moving a load in the incorrect location and being struck.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged, or marked with the identity and appropriate hazard warnings regarding the chemicals contained therein:   (a) In the Paint Booth Area; two 55-gallon drums were filled with chain cleaner Polychem 600 Acrustrip.  The drums were not labeled with the contents inside nor the appropriate hazard warnings.  This exposed employees to potential health hazards.
