29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by: (a) Employees were exposed to amputation hazards while working on the Wysong Shear (Machine #MTC01-316-2) and the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from the hold downs and shear blade. (b) Employees were exposed to amputation hazards while working with the Wellsaw Horizontal Bandsaw (Machine #MTC01-315-2) and the employer did not ensure that the unused portion of the blade was properly guarded.
