29 CFR 1926.651(d): Employees exposed to public vehicular traffic were not wearing warning vests provided by the employer: (a) KMU Trucking and Excavating, Inc. on or about September 16, 2014, at the site located on Walker Rd. near Waterside Dr. in Avon Lake, OH: The employer failed to ensure employees were easily visible to vehicular traffic by ensuring all employees wore high visibility garments while working near or in an active roadway at an excavation. Due to this condition, employees walking and working parallel to the roadway were exposed to potential struck-by injuries caused from a vehicular collision.
