The employer did not establish a written respiratory protection program for an employee who was required to wear an N95 filtering face piece respirator to protect him from steel and aluminum dust particulates generated during hand sanding of steel and aluminum fabricated parts. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
